Stunning Home Addition in Aldie, VA
The homeowners were in the process of installing a pool in their backyard, and they wanted to be able to directly access this exterior space without disrupting the main area of their home. They were also in need of additional garage space and an office on the upstairs level that would eliminate having to work from the bedroom.
The BOWA Solution:
To design the new garage addition and blend it seamlessly with the existing house, BOWA enlisted the help of Studio 360. The solution involved building a charming entryway that opens to a functional mudroom with custom lockers. To the left of this entryway, there is now a kitchenette to better service the exterior space. Extra storage space for towels was built into the staircase leading down to the pool room. On this level, BOWA incorporated a changing room, secondary laundry, and full bath. Upstairs, with a small Juliette balcony overlooking the rear yard, there is now a beautifully appointed home office for the owners to be able to work comfortably and productively in. Completing this project in conjunction with the pool installation, especially during COVID-19 and with the owners living in the house, there was an added challenge that BOWA was swiftly and successfully able to work around.
