BOWA Recognized as Capital Contractor of the Year

Excerpt: BOWA (, a home transformation company, was honored with a 2010 Capital “Contractor of the Year” (CotY) Award by the National Association of the Remodeling Industry (NARI) Metro DC Chapter on Saturday, Jan. 29. Josh Baker is founder of BOWA, and a McLean resident. The Capital CotY Grand Award for the Entire House over $1,000,000 category was given to BOWA for a large scale home renovation in Great Falls. As the single point of accountability for the customer, BOWA transformed this home to fit the young family’s need of comfort and convenience. Although BOWA faced challenges and unusual constraints, they implemented creative solutions and custom features, such as maple cabinetry and a floor warming system, to improve flow and functionality.
