McLean, Virginia—BOWA Builders, recognized by Inc. Magazine as one of the nation’s fastest growing private companies, recently announced the addition of four new owners. Thomas Bennett, Douglas Horgan, Mark Ross, and Stefani Wong all bring various strengths to the already very strong leadership group of Larry Weinberg, Joshua Baker, Steve Kirstein, Jim Little and David Brandt.
• Thomas Bennett, Vice President of Production, joined BOWA in 1999. Prior to joining BOWA, Tom was a Project Manager for The Driggs Company, a large site contractor. With a BS in Construction Management and Engineering from Trinity University and 27 years in the construction industry, Tom adds valuable knowledge and experience to the management team.
• Douglas Horgan, Customer Service Manager, has been with BOWA for fourteen years. Doug, who holds a degree in Philosophy from Swarthmore College, was originally hired as a laborer but was quickly promoted to Project Manager. Customer Service Manager since 2000, Doug is responsible for BOWA’s customer service and warranty department.
• Mark Ross, Vice President of Production, came to BOWA in early 1998 after relocating to the Washington area from upstate New York. Prior to joining BOWA, Mark was the owner of a successful home building and remodeling company for 22 years. Mark was originally hired as a Production Manager and was promoted to Vice President of Production in 2001.
• Stefani Wong, Director of Marketing, has over 14 years of experience in residential construction project management and design. With a degree in Architecture from Virginia Tech, Stefani originally joined BOWA in 1992 as a Salesperson; she has also spent time as an Estimator and Production Coordinator. Prior to joining BOWA, Stefani worked for Case Design in their sales department as a Draftsman and Salesperson.
